The Problem:
The previous system, the EO Genius, billed customers based on time (by the hour) rather than the actual kilowatt-hours (kWh) of power consumed. This approach proved to be not only inefficient but also confusing for many users. The system’s complexity led to significant driver frustration as they struggled to understand the billing process and usage parameters.
Additionally, it created considerable extra work for the onsite resort reception team, who had to provide extensive support to help users navigate the cumbersome interface. The inefficiencies and complications inherent in the old system were a constant source of dissatisfaction for both customers and staff.
The Solution:
We recently upgraded the facilities at Potters Leisure by installing brand-new 22kW AC sockets, significantly improving their EV charging offerings.

The system is running very close to 100% uptime and is generating revenue. For those requiring telephone support, there is a dedicated 24/7 freephone, meaning receptionists no longer need to be EV experts and provide support to the customers.
EV drivers staying onsite had a much improved experience of charging, which enhanced their stay at Potters Leisure. With the latest technology from ElectRoad, EV charging at Potters Leisure has become an actual source of revenue and provides value to visitors (not just a complicated outgoing anymore).
